Additional, Slovakia-Based Summer Programs
Affiliated with Comenius University
Upon special request, SACC will also consider granting a scholarship to attend one of the following summer programs based in Slovakia to study Slovak language. Application requirements are the same as for the SACC Scholarship to attend SLI. Please send slovakamericancc@gmail.com a note to inform us if you plan to attend one of the below programs and would like to apply for a scholarship.
1) Studia Academica Slovaca (SAS)
-- Accredited program in its 58th year & affiliated with Comenius University

-- Classes begin on first Monday of August
-- Two-week (online) or three-week (in-person) program, depending on format, with classes & activities offered Monday through Saturday
-- If online, classes begin for North America-based students at 9am EST
-- Includes language course work (beginner through advanced) + extra-curricular activities + excursions
-- Open to students ages 18 and over
-- Takes place in Bratislava at Comenius University; students reside in dormitories
